ELLAI's Production Base was Listed in the Fourth batch of Green Factories

On 18 July 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PRC announced the proposed list of the fourth batch of green manufacturing, and ELLAI's production base was selected as one of the green factories.

What is a green factory?

Green factory is a strategic task proposed in "Made in China 2025", which gives priority to a number of enterprises with good work foundation and strong representation to create green factories, promote green design and green procurement, develop and produce green products, adopt advanced and applicable clean production technology and efficient end management equipment, eliminate outdated equipment, and establish resource recovery and recycling mechanism.The target is to promote the optimization of energy consumption structure and achieve green development of factories.

The green factory focuses on the greening of the production process, which is mainly reflected in the intensive development of land, harmless raw materials, clean production,recycling waste, and low-carbon energy.

What has ELLAI done about green factories?

Factory

ELLAI has been keeping the concept of sustainable development, green production and ecological protection. In 2009, we carried out energy conservation, emission reduction, and expansion of production scale transformation. We also achieved the goal of full treatment of sewage and no sewage discharge. We have invested more than 70 million yuan on establishing various environmental protection facilities to ensure that the discharge meets the standards, including the establishment of four sewage treatment plants, so that industrial water treatment can reach the first-class (A) water quality.

Three closed warehouses with a total area of 40,000 square meters have been established to ensure dust emissions meet the standards. At the same time, 12 sets of dust treatment equipment have been set up in each workshop to ensure the standard emission, and all of them are monitored online.

All the fuels used by ELLAI are natural gas, and the waste heat is turned into treasure by establishing a kiln waste heat recovery system, which effectively solves the problems of winter heating, workshop drying and staff bathing, and promotes energy reuse.

ELLAI carries out the concept of green environment protection to every step of production and reaches every corner of the factory.

Selecting 32 kinds of natural raw materials

There are 32 natural raw materials in ELLAI's ceramic products. The main characteristics of these raw materials are high plasticity and excellent whiteness, which are key factors in creating ELLAI's white ceramics.

20℃ pure water

With the scientific ratio of adding 20℃ pure water to the glaze slurry, it can effectively improve the quality of the glaze slurry and minimize impurities, making the fired glaze extremely smooth and bright, and easier to clean.

Self-cleaning Mirror glaze

ELLAI has developed a nano-level antibacterial self-cleaning glaze - Mirror glaze. The smooth glaze surface is easy to flush and clean, greatly reducing the residue of dirt, and has an antibacterial rate of over 90% against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus in stool.

Water saving and environmental protection

The concept of energy saving, health, environmental protection and hygiene is always in the production process of ELLAI. 80% of the effective water saving comes from the design of the product. ELLAI's toilets use self-designed buttons, which operate smoothly and can flush with a soft single press. Our toilets use high-quality water parts, and the size of the buttons are clear which can be used effectively.

In 2003, ELLAI ceramics products were awarded the title of "Eco-friendly Building Material Products".

In 2012, ELLAI was certified as "High Technology Expertise" by the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC.
